A robot can perform exactly as designed and still fail in practice if people avoid it, misunderstand it, work around it, or never fully integrate it into their daily work. Technical performance matters, but lasting success depends on how people, workflows, and technology come together as one system.
Hum/In exists to help organizations bridge that gap. Grounded in behavioral science and robotics deployment strategy, I help clients prepare people, design better implementation processes, and build environments where robotics can be successfully adopted and sustained over time.
I believe robotics should reduce friction, improve safety, and free people to focus on work that requires judgment, creativity, and human connection. Technology should support people, not simply expect people to adapt to it.
This philosophy shapes the Human-Centered Adoption Cycle, a framework I developed to treat deployment not as the finish line, but as the beginning of an ongoing process of learning, adaptation, and continuous improvement.
